A freak snowstorm in the mountains is nothing new, but when you get married in the winter or spring it's even more likely to happen! Honestly, a snow storm in the mountains creates this magical winter wonderland that is absolutely breathtaking. Nathalie and Frank dreamed of getting married outside in the mountains, so when a blizzard rolled in on their wedding day they were absolutely determined to stick with their plans and turned the snow it into a wedding they'll never forget! The wedding ceremony was planned to be held at viewpoint 5 near the Delta Kananaskis, but due to the blizzard, and the amount of snow it was next to impossible to get there. Instead, everyone pitched in to shovel out a spot closer to the parking lot and they held a perfect outdoor wedding ceremony right in the middle of a blizzard in a parking lot (and it's honestly amazing!). Michael Buckley from Canmore's Photoflow was on-hand to capture all of the memories and moments for them.
After the ceremony, Nathalie and Frank decided to continue embracing the snow and headed out to the Lorette Pond and around the Delta Kananaskis for photos. Canmore wedding photographer, Photoflow didn't mind either and loved the adventure of this wedding and capturing these two brave lovebirds!
A huge thank-you to Canmore wedding photographer, Photoflow for sharing this gorgeous Kananaskis wedding with us today and reminding us to make the most out of any weather or situation!
