The Views on this Mountaintop Elopement cannot be Missed!

Elopements in the mountains always catch our attention and pull at our heart strings, there is something utterly romantic and incredibly adventurous about running to the top of a mountain peak to pledge your love to each other without anyone around but the songs of the winds and birds.

Today we're sharing a true elopement with only two people (their witnesses) who even knew about the secret wedding. Jennifer and Jesse travelled from Ontario to Golden, BC to elope on top of the mountain peaks at Kicking Horse Resort with their wedding commissioner (Hans Lenstra) and amazing Canmore wedding photographer, Photflow. Their witnesses drove in from Vancouver and made it just in time for the wedding ceremony! And we can't forget that

Jennifer and Jesse stood at the very top of the world, overlooking an endless sea of mountain peaks, evergreens and wild terrain as they looked into each others eyes deeply and pledged their love to each other. The moment was joyful, tear-filled and incredibly powerful and it is sure to be a moment they will never forget. Photflow (Canmore wedding photographer) captured the intimacy and beauty of this sacred moment so they could later share it with family and friends as they broke the news of their mountaintop elopement.

As Jennifer jetted from Vancouver to Kicking Horse for their elopement she made sure to book an amazing hair and makeup artist, Personal Touch, to help her get ready.

Michael from Photoflow told us, "The only thing Jennifer told me was that she wanted great shots of the mountains and that she was wearing hiking boots because she wanted to hike around a bit for the perfect shots. This was music to my ears."

And Michael definitely delivered on 'great shots of the mountains' as Jesse and Jennifer hiked all over while he captured breathtaking and vast landscape images showcasing the incredible beauty of the area and this monumental day. These photos are simply incredible and every single image shows so much beauty we could hardly choose which images to showcase.
